The Designs In My Mind

I can't help but be inspired.

I see the world in full colour.

Someone walks past me in a floral skirt, I flick to a magazine and see leopard print and I am dazzled by car lights driving at night all in the same day. Then, assimilating everything somehow, flowers and spots and bright lights bloom in my brain... and just wait for an opportunity to be born again.

Today I was thinking about dying denim and, for some reason, tulips.

So a couple of new textile designs were born. The blue has the perfect amount of grey-night-inkiness to it yet it's still kind of playful and awake... The palette is inspired by vintage kitchens.

And that is a little glimpse into the way that designs are born.

This design is already loaded in miniature on my etsy store and will be available soon via my spoonflower shop.

Do you love it as much as I do? I hope so.
