I'm Katrina Ward and I'm a New Zealand artist working out of my home studio in Egmont Village, New Plymouth.
I trained in Fine Arts at Elam School of Fine Arts (Auckland) and also have a Masters in Art History. I went on to become a teacher and have been working in secondary and tertiary education sectors since 2005.
I explore colour, nature, pattern and fashion in patterns and paintings whilst also working in education full time.
My man and I live with our two young children, cat and love bird. We love strong coffee, bad puns, haiku (maybe that's just me) and house plants.
I believe in living a life that is full of the things you love and for me it's full colour, family and fun.
